Saving Instructions:

Saving images on a PC:
1. To save an image to your computer, right-click on the image and choose the "save image" option.
2. To set an image as your desktop wallpaper, right-click on it and choose the "set as wallpaper" option.

Saving images on a Mac:
1. Click and hold down the mouse button, you will be given an option to save the image.

Saving images for WebTV users:
1. We won't allow people to link directly to our images, that is called bandwidth theft. You will need to use a transload service or something similar. Here is a list of free hosting services where you may host your images, click here.

Saving images to your album:

1. As you browse through our archive, you may click on the "my album" button underneath the images to save them to your own personal online album for later viewing. To view your album, just click on the "My Album" button at the top of the screen. Important - you should wait for the entire page to finish loading before you add more images to your album. If you add images to your album too soon, it will prevent the rest of the images on the page from loading.
2. You can send the album to yourself or others by e-mail for shared viewing! To do this, while viewing your album just click on the e-mail button in the upper right-hand corner.
3. You can save the images in your album as a zip file. To do this, while viewing your album just click on the zip button in the upper right-hand corner. You will need a program like StuffIt Expander (free) to open the zip-file.

Saving images in vector format (Members Only):
This feature available to member's only - we have over 5000 images
available to download in vector format. Vector images can be resized without any degradation in quality, unlike standard .gifs and .jpgs. This is great if you need to have the image enlarged for printing. The vector images are available in compressed (zip) format. You will need a program like StuffIt Expander (free) to open the zip-file. If the image is available in vector format, a "Download" button will appear below the standard .gif/.jpg image.

Q: I saved an animation from your site, but now the image isn't animated anymore. Why?
A: In order to view the animation, the software you are using it must support it. Some e-mail or graphics programs (and other applications) won't show animations. If you view the animation in your browser, it should work.

Q: How do I add an image to an HTML document or an e-mail?
A: The following code should work:

Adding images to e-mails depends on your e-mail client, you will have to read your documentation.

Q: Why are my images being saved in .ART format?
A: If you are using an AOL browser, it compresses the images you save in .ART format, which only your AOL browser can view. If you would like to save images in .jpg or .gif format, you should download the latest version of Netscape or Internet Explorer. (new window will open)

Q: I can't find the image that I want on your site, will you design the image that I am looking for?

Q: I want to download the images in zip format, can you send them to me?
A: You can save the images in your album as a zip file. To do this, while viewing your album just click on the zip button in the upper right-hand corner. As a member, you may save up to 40 images at once in your album/zip file.

Q: Do you offer your images in vector format? (Members Only)
A: Yes, many of our images are available in either Adobe Illustrator or Windows Metafile format. You can easily resize vector images for your projects, without degradation in quality. If the image is available in vector format, a "Download" button will appear below the standard .gif/.jpg image.

Q: Do I have to give AAAClipArt.com credit if I use your images?
A: If you are using our images for a personal or non-commercial project, no credit is required (although it would be appreciated). If you are using our images for a commercial project, we do require that visible credit is given. Please read our terms of use for complete details.

Q: How do I get the best results from your search engine?
A: Start with a broad, generic search. If you get too many results, you can try narrowing your search with more specific keywords.
